One word that describes my life is…”Metamorphosis”. At 300 pounds I realized a change was needed. There had to be a plan that worked for me. I determined that I needed a change how I viewed food and exercise. By reconditioning my mind to make better food choices, eat smaller portions and exercise regularly allowed me to experience an evident physical change.
Year after year, over spending, not having a plan for my spending, living paycheck to paycheck and accumulating debt, financially I found myself in a similar state. My budget needed to lose weight. Then one day “life” happened and financial distress hit my household.
Once I dealt with the reality of the situation, with much prayer and help from God, the transformation began with a plan…the “B” word – BUDGET. I began to develop a discipline that would allow me to streamline my daily living cost, eliminate waste to live below my means (income). I had to choose between “want” vs. “need”.
